My wedding favors are a huge headache... would this be stupid? If so, what else can we do?

I was thinking of votive candles with a wrap around them saying our names and the date, then having the candles in a glass holder... it is something small... and I have no idea if it will work.
If not, do you have any other ideas?
Those are really cute! To really save money, forget about the glass holder, just wrap the candles with some clear or colored cellophane and ribbon.
Another idea- order M&M's in the colors of your wedding and personalized sayings, then
