my pocketknife says stainless steel?

This means it wont rust and i can wash it right?....im planning to clean all blades through water
Even if it was carbon steel you can run it under water and clean it. Just make sure to dry it off afterward. And remember, stainless steel is only stain *resistant*. It can still rust and spot up after heavy use

sharpening a pocketknife?

I have a Victoriknox swiss pocketknife with stainless steel blades. What is the best way to sharpen it without buying something at the store.
if you don't have a sharpening stone then it will be difficult. they are not very expensive in a hardware store (less than $10).
the other option is to check if your hardware store does free knife sharpening (sometimes they do scissors too).

Seriously, have you been paying attention for the last 8 years?
No weapons of any sort are permitted on aircraft.
If you try to take your knife through the security checkpoint, it will be confiscated. If you try to hide it
