, Cosmo Bingo in Stalybridge have announced plans to transform their hall into a makeshift wedding venue and have already applied to their local council for a licence to be able to do so.

Manager Keith Lee has announced he is confident that the club would be a popular choice for happy couples should they be granted permission to host wedding ceremonies.

In a recent interview with The Manchester Evening News , he explained that many brides-to-be love a trip to the bingo hall during their hen night  and that this move seemed like the next natural step.

He said: “We already get plenty of hen parties coming in here because they like to start the night by coming to the bingo. Somebody down south has done it, but not up here, so we thought ‘why not?’
